UPDATE:
Law Enforcement has just reported that the threat received this morning was not credible. Local law enforcement will remain at the schools throughout the day and we will continue to be in a soft lockdown throughout the morning. Please feel free to bring children back to school if you feel comfortable.

ATTN: PLEASE READ
We were just informed by police that a Lincoln County resident made a threat against the local schools. We do not know the context of the threat at this time. We have all children inside the building and we have gone into a soft lockdown. We have local law enforcement in our buildings at this time. We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep parents and families informed throughout the day. We understand that some families may want to come pick up their child. If you would like to come pick up your child, please come to the main office to sign them out so we know they are safe.

Good afternoon!
First & foremost, thank you to local law enforcement, as well as all faculty & staff, for proceeding with this morning's events both calmly & efficiently. The immediacy with which everyone acted was impressive & appreciated, and most importantly, it kept everyone safe.
Secondly, there will be a Community & Family Committee meeting tonight, which will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, in the high school library.
